Lack of knowledge is no protection for either a organization or an individual. This course aims to cover the key legislative requirements that are required. This course seeks to address the need for organizations to gain an appreciation of applicable health and safety legislation and the actions they should typically take to ensure they are legally compliant. This course is essential for those organizations who are in the process of setting up a certified/registered occupational health and safety management system.

Course Assessment

The delegate is assessed based on participation and performance throughout the duration of the course. This includes all exercises, role plays, case studies and all other activities during the course. Please note, full attendance is required during the training course.

Training Methodology

An interactive one-day course employing a mixture of formal presentations, workshop exercises and assessment.  The methodology is known as Accelerated Learning.  Accelerated Learning involves the whole person, using physical activity, creativity, collaboration among learners, variety that appeals to all learning styles, contextual learning with real-world immersion, the creation of a positive physical, emotional, and social environment and other methods designed to get people deeply involved in their own learning.
